COUNCIL GRANT OF £500 FOR LANTERN WALK

Epping Town Council has approved a £500.00 grant application from the Friends of Swaines Green to help meet the cost of the lighting their annual Lantern Walk, which takes place each September. The registered charity is being faced with a £1,500.00 bill for the lighting of woodland where art work of local school students and artists is displayed.

The Town Council’s Recreation Grounds and Outside Services Key Member, Cllr. Rob Macrae said: "It's a fabulous community event which a lot of people enjoy."
